D-BAT was founded in 1998 and is considered by many to be one of the premier baseball and softball training facilities in the country.

The original D-BAT was located in a small facility in North Dallas with two employees – Cade and Kyle Griffis.  As a former collegiate and professional baseball player, Cade has a core belief that each player plays a different game and should be taught to maximize his or her talents to suit his or her game. Kyle, a former collegiate athlete himself, oversees the day-to-day operations of D-BAT Dallas including managing the pro shop and handling uniform sales.
